Lets face it Classic will be a lot easier than Private and we had less time to gear on private, less debuff slots, bosses had more armor, the loot we were getting had progressive itemization (meaning it was WORSE than the gear you will get in Classic) and the content was still trivial on a double release schedule. If anything layering has a chance to extend the time you have to gear up in.
Enhancement Shaman Raid and World Boss Guide. There are three general builds that you will need to consider depending on the raid’s available debuff slots and healing needs. Stormstrike Build. This build has a few advantages. First, it is probably the highest DPS build of the three builds. It is also a pretty good pre-hit cap build because it puts points into Nature’s Guidance. This is.

Classic WoW Factions and Races. The choice of Race is very important in the WoW Classic, as some of the Racial traits are very powerful. Many Racials were nerfed, changed or straight up removed in later patches, but in Classic, they can be utilized in their original, game-impacting state.
This is the standard Moonkin Talent Build for optimal end-game DPS. Unlike many other specializations, Balance does not have many variants to choose from in talent builds. This build is based around optimizing the ability Starfire as Moonkin’s primarily use that spell in raiding environments (due to limited debuff slots.).
If Classic WOW decided to use 16 debuff slots instead of the 8, shouldn’t the same line of thinking being applied to removing the hidden auras as counting as buff slots? I believe the reasoning for the 16 debuff slots was that it was just a technical issue that didn’t allow it back in original WOW.
Removing vanilla debuff slots just by itself isn't a solution to anything. Fixed it for you. Personally, given what we know about Blizzard it would be extraordinary if Classic didn't get a final balance pass before release to make raids appropriately challenging and stop any one class or spec being too dominant.
Being a Shadow Priest in Classic: The viability of shadow will depend on how Blizzard implements the debuff limit. In the original game, there was an 8 debuff limit until patch 1.7 (Zul'Gurub) expanded that to 16. With 8 debuffs, a shadow priest is impossible to play effectively in a raid. If Blizzard goes with 16 debuffs from the beginning, shadow will be viable right from the start, with.
Debuff priorities. Question. Close. 30. Posted by 6 months ago. Archived. Debuff priorities. Question. So we have 16 debuff slots on bosses to work with in raids. And we all know we need to set our own priorities on which debuffs to apply in order to maximize damage and mitigation. There have been some posts on here that were helpful. But I haven't found any that talk about wow's built-in.
Authenticator Bag Slots Since before WoW Classic was first launched, we’ve been very concerned with replicating the original experience while eliminating as many ways that accounts could be compromised as possible. We can’t eliminate them all, and unfortunately, many WoW Classic players have not yet taken steps to protect their account with an authenticator. That leads to difficulty for.
Warlock had at least three debuffs that deal damage - Immolate, Corruption and Curse of Agony, plus some other spells such as Curse of Shadow, Doom or Drain Life, so in theory, 4 warlocks would have taken all the debuff slots; but compared to that, MT's Sunder Armor must come first and have 5 stacks all the time in order hold the aggro. Perhaps there are other warrior debuffs to draw threat.

At BlizzCon 2018, the WoW community got their first chance to experience World of Warcraft Classic for themselves. To help players understand what goes into bringing a Blizzard-quality experience like this to life, software engineers Brian Birmingham and Omar Gonzalez along with Game Director Ion Hazzikostas took the stage Saturday afternoon to share their insights. After a few weeks of guilds clearing Molten Core and Onyxia in Classic WoW, there are now several hundred logged kills in both raids, so we've dived into the parses recorded on Warcraft Logs in order to see how the different Classic WoW DPS classes are doing and how they rank against one another. Of course, not everything is about raw damage, as as many classes bring unique raid buffs, debuffs.Classic WoW is not quite like modern WoW. In Classic, everyone must come to raid remembering that you cannot simply use any ability on a boss. The amount of debuffs anything can have is limited to 16. Bearing this in mind, it is imperative only to use the best debuffs. This can either mean damage-increasing debuffs or debuffs that make the mob easier to handle.
